We keep privacy straightforward: we collect only the information we reasonably need to serve you, protect it appropriately, and do not sell or rent your personal information.

Our website links to a third-party booking service. Westwood Lanes does not store your credit-card information on this website. The booking provider’s own privacy terms also apply when you use its service.

Westwood Lanes & Games is responsible for personal information under its control. We have designated a Privacy Officer to answer questions, handle access or correction requests, and address privacy concerns.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact information, such as your name, email address and telephone number.
- Booking and event information, such as the requested date and time, group size, package selection, participant or guest details you choose to provide, and notes needed to arrange your visit.
- League and program information, such as bowling preferences, team information, availability, averages or scores, and registration details.
- Messages and feedback you send through our forms, email, telephone, social-media pages or advertising lead forms.
- Employment information submitted through a job application, including work history, availability, qualifications and résumé information.
- Website information, such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, pages viewed, referring page and cookie or analytics identifiers.
Please do not send sensitive personal information that we have not requested.
We collect information directly from you when you fill out a form, communicate with us, book or attend an event, register for a league or program, apply for a job, or otherwise provide information to us.
We may also receive information from a person organizing a group booking, from a third-party booking provider, or automatically through cookies and similar website technologies.
We may use personal information to:
- respond to questions and requests;
- arrange and administer bookings, parties, leagues, events and other services;
- communicate booking updates, confirmations or operational information;
- process and assess employment applications;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and services;
- understand website traffic and the effectiveness of our communications or advertising;
- send promotional messages when permitted and honour unsubscribe requests;
- prevent fraud, misuse or safety incidents; and
- comply with legal, accounting, insurance and regulatory obligations.
If we want to use personal information for a new purpose that is not reasonably related to the original purpose, we will explain the new purpose and obtain consent when required.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that help the site function and help us understand how visitors use it. We currently use Google Analytics, which may collect device, browser, IP-address and website-interaction information.
We may also measure visits or enquiries connected with online advertising. Third-party services may process information outside Manitoba or Canada and may use their own cookies subject to their privacy policies.

We do not sell or rent personal information. When you follow a link to EasyBowl, Google, Facebook, Instagram or another third-party service, that provider’s privacy policy applies to its handling of your information.
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service, legal, accounting, insurance, dispute-resolution and security needs. Retention periods vary by the type of record. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete, destroy or anonymize it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. These may include access restrictions, account controls, secure systems, staff practices and secure disposal.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will take the steps required by applicable law, which may include notifying affected individuals and the appropriate regulator.
Our website and online forms are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. A parent, guardian or other responsible adult should make party bookings and provide any information needed for a child’s participation. If we learn that we collected personal information directly from a child who could not meaningfully consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or obtain appropriate consent.

- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Transactional or service messages may still be sent when necessary.
